Today, September 1, is the first day of National Suicide Prevention Month. Suicide is often a delicate subject, and it's even more worrisome that of the number of deaths caused by suicide in America, 90% is of those undiagnosed with a treatable psychiatric disorder and 22.2% is of our veterans.
Being September, I wanted to get a couple of things out there for everyone. There are several organizations who work for and towards suicide prevention and awareness, including the famous To Write Love on Her Arms (twloha.com/) Foundation. However, a more active organization is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.afsp.org/). I would personally like to bring to everyone's attention that they have several walks throughout the year that raise suicide awareness and money. They are focused on offering educational programs for professionals, educating the public on mood swings and mental disorders, promoting policies that impact both suicide and prevention, and providing programs and resources for those who have lost loved ones to suicide, as well as to those at risk. They work towards everything we as individuals can't always provide to those at risk.
Here in Alabama, they are hosting a walk in Daphne on October 17, which I will be attending. (afsp.donordrive.com/index.cfm?…)
There are opportunities at both for you to either volunteer or walk, and you are not required to donate to help out, although it is much appreciated. When you register for a walk, you are given a personal donation page you can find mine at afsp.donordrive.com/index.cfm?… fancy, I know)
And for those of you who don't live in Southern AL area like I do, you can find all of the walks at afsp.donordrive.com/index.cfm?…)

Hey grams!! You there?? You'll never guess where I am. I bet you would be too scared. HA!
Ugh, Felix please, it is far too early for this nonsense. What do you need.
Wow, chill gramma. Can't I message you just to talk? You're missing out on some pretty cool stuff. So I found this really neat place.
It's like an amusement park in here. There's all sorts of game stands with prizes just waiting to be grabbed!! But the weird thing is I can't find nobody.
Think everyone ditched because this place is so lame. You should come out. They have a stand where you try and throw water balloons at a target. ;)

Dream #1
So this dreams starts off that I went to a store with Jamie (friend) and his dad, but there was no significant dialogue to remember. We went to a small shop that sold all kinds of things, from soap to used "ds" games. I didn't know the name of the store, but I did know that my art teacher and my teacher from fifth, sixth, and seventh grade was working there with someone else that didn't look familiar. For some odd reason I was really tired and was unable to keep my eyes open, but after awhile I had infinite energy but by then Jamie and his dad had bought what they came here for.
After that I don't remember seeing their vehicle, it just tr

I would be talking to you on the old old aol messenger on the new new pony express.. We would have long conversations, that would carry well into the night And at the end of them, You'd tell me your alright.. But oh, in that certain sort of way.. im tired, and its not too soon that you say "I’m O.K." So then thereafter I would fall asleep... and what do you know? Its my heart you keep.. You’ve gone and made my dreams. Didn't you always know it Although we don't all always show it You make my dreams
